The second part of the Accordion Card Organizer Video is ready

I have been working hard on my videos to be able to post the second part of my Accordion Card Organizer, and finally I finished it.

I'm still missing the third and final part, the tutorial was so long that it was necessary to make 3 videos of it, hopefully it will work and it will help the viewers to understand how I made it and to help them to create their own.

Here is the video in English and soon I will be posting on You Tube the Spanish version, so if you are a Spanish viewer, please be patient and think that I'm working on it.

My First Spanish Video

My Sister, who is a very smart Lady, suggested yesterday that it might be interesting to have my tutorial videos also in Spanish.  To be honest, at first I thought I wouldn't have any audience, but then I give it a thought and decided that there might be enough people in Spain or Latin America that might like to do scrapbook or create greeting cards and that would appreciate having my tutorial videos handy.

So I decided to make a translated to Spanish version of one of my favorite videos "Elmo and Friends" which in this case would be "Elmo y sus Amigos".

I used the same video that I created in English but with a different audio and subtitles.

I hope this will be helpful for some Spanish speaking friends around the world.

**Fold your base card and before punching trip 1/4" on the front side of your card, then punch.

Sliding Gift Card Holders

The Gift card holders have been very popular because they are very versatile, you can make them for any occasion an impress your friends or family with these wonderful holders. These are a technique that Richard Garay thought me and a few other Stampin' Up Demonstrators a while ago.

The picture below is the ones we made on my class, the video that you can watch clicking the link below the picture, will teach you how to make the mechanism, after you learn that, you can decorate your holder the way you like it. So use your creativity and have fun. Let me know what you came up with.

Prismacolors vs Stampin' Up Markers

Today I learned something great!!!! I was ready to start my collection of Copic markers, to be honest making a big effort because they are not cheap, but a lot of the best card designers have been recommending them as the best ones (which I believe), unfortunately, not all of us can afford them.

I even started contact with the company to get certified next January 09.

Ok getting back to what I learned... You can have the same effect than with the copics with the Stampin' Up Markers, Watercolor paper and a water brush.

I tried the technique today and it really worked. These two pictures are the first ones I tried with the SU markers.

It's not easy, but what is?  We will need some practice, but to be my first two coloring stamps, they came out pretty good. Don't you think?

 

Now; these next pictures are made with prismacolor, they look fantastic too, but you  need to invest also not only on the prismacolor pencils, but also on the Blending stumps and the Gamsol or Odorless Mineral Spirits.
