Learning something new

I've been trying to learn a new way to use my cricut with some software that I found online, you can make banners with wordings and images for your projects, either greeting cards or scrap-booking and it is really fun doing it on your computer and then transferring it to the cricut and voila, you have it ready to use on your project.

The program I'm using is called Sore Cuts a lot, and it is really fun, I have been making lots of things on it to learn and soon I will be posting some of the projects I'm making.

In the meantime I will keep learning more and more and I'll be posting soon.

Coloring Technique

Back from our short vacation to Coronado, Ca, and ready to go back to our daily routine I decided to share with you these two cards to show you the difference between coloring an image with Markers and coloring it with crayons or blender pens.

On the first image, I color on Whisper White card stock using the Stampin' Up! Wonder Crayons and doing the shading with the Marvelous Markers, on the second picture I use the Marvelous Markers on Velum paper, but the trick here is to color on the back part of the paper, do the shading with markers too, for example the leaves are colored with Old Olive and the shading is colored with Always Artichoke.

The thing about coloring is that you enjoy it and don't be afraid of trying new things, try combining colors when you shade and soon you will master the technique.

Make your cards using marbles

We already started our wonderful Technique Club with the Versa Mark resist class, and we are looking forward to the second technique "Marbles" this technique promise to be an awesome and easy one to make.

A quarter size card stock sheet with the directions and a sample of the technique as well as a greeting card using the technique.

You of course will take home the instructions printed into ring cards and you will collect the cards monthly into a binder I will also provide.

Our next class will be "Marbles" on December 12 starting at 1:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
