I started going to my classes again, my kids keep me pretty busy, but I really miss my friends and a little time for myself, besides the creativity part of me, needs to be active...
I have to confess that I never stopped going to Mike Strong's classes, I missed a couple but I try to be there every time he comes to my area.
Now one of my friends that are part of Mike's class, Bessie, is teaching a technique that I never tried before "Irish Folding", the cards come out so beautiful, and even if you think it is hard, let me tell you that it is not. With me in the class were people that have been doing this technique for at least a year and people that just started and they were doing great both of them.
This technique consists in folding paper, you get a template and the guide with numbers and lines and the point is just fold, glue and follow the guide and before you know you will have an awesome card. Then you can embellish if you think it still needs it, but trust me, most of the time it doesn't.
So next time you think in creating something new, try the Irish Folding, it is fun, easy and beautiful, or what do you think?
