Time really passes by fast, almost on July, and the weather is still not sure what season it is, specially here in South California, one day we are really hot and the next day it is raining, can you believe it? I had a hard time figuring out how the weather was going to be on my son's pool birthday party, and of course it was overcast, he had fun anyway, and his guests did too.

Lately I have been a little slow on my stamping because I just had a surgery and the tests and the surgery itself took a long time, right now I'm at home recovering and not being able to go out yet, I think it'll still take a couple of weeks to go back to my old self, but in the mean time I thought I could type a note on my blog to remind you that Tomorrow is the last day of Trixie's promotion of giving you the extra 20% down on any order, remember that the Stampin' Up catalog is coming out on July and there are a lot of retiring items that you would still be able to ge today and tomorrow, so if you want to take advantage of our promotion, give me a call and I'll place your order, but it will have to be before tomorrow's midnight on Pacific time.

Also the Summer Mini Catalog is available until August 31, and that will be also included in the Trixie's promotion, any Stampin' Up! item, from any of their catalogs will have the 20% down until June 30, two more days only.

And the new Catalog will be here soon, I can't wait to have it in my hands, call me if you need one and can't wait like me to see it.

Sweet Treat Cups

On September 1st the new Holiday Mini Catalog is coming out and with it the Sweet Treat Cups, they match our Sweet Centers Stamp Set and the  1 3/4" Circle Punch, also there will be special padded envelopes that used with the Sweet Centers stamp set and the cups will be a perfect coordination to make that special project.

I made this special one using the cups and the 1 3/4" circle punch, I also used the Scallop Punch, Scallop Edge and Eyelet Border punches, the DSP was the Kaleidoscope, and the Card Stock was Whisper White, Regal Rose an Certainly Celery, it was easy and  fun to make and the cups give it a special look.

The Sweet Centers stamp set also makes it easy to create ornaments, treat bags and more. Another great item that will match it is the Stampin' Up! Magnetic Movers & Shapers, use them  with the Movers & Shapers Curly Label die for perfect window placement on your card front.  The ornament is slightly larger than the new Ornament punch, so you can easily layer images, and the circle works perfectly with the sweet and treat cups. I just got my goodies from the Holiday Mini Catalog and I couldn't wait to make these cute bears, I haven't even make any card...yet but at least I got time enough to make the little ones, even my son played with my Big Shot, it was so easy for him and he had so much fun, I can't wait to start creating my cards using the cute bears, I still need to make a girl, just boys for my boy now.

Designer Series Papers

I think the secret to a great card is….. "the right accessories"! I would have to say that my favourite accessory to use embelish  my cards is Stampin’ Up!’s Designer Papers.  In fact, I try to use Designer Paper on pretty much every card or project Idesign. Why?  I find that it adds a special "look" to your cards that you just can’t achieve using only cardstock.  You’ve probably noticed that just about every card I design includes Designer Paper  - that’s because, as far as I’m concerned, nothing jazzes up a card better than patterned paper.
