Christmas is here

Yesterday I went to one of my favorites classes, Michael Strong, I try always to attend his classes, he is a real artist and you always learn something new besides you get out of there with at least 10 beautiful cards.

 

But besides Mike's cards and fun class, my friends bring other classes cards, in this case they shared with me a beautiful card that I'm planning to use to show some 9 grade kids  how to make.

It's a beautiful, and easy card to do for this Christmas season, thanks for sharing Carol and thanks to Roxy, the creator of this beauty.

Getting your presents ready?

Christmas is only 19 days away and most of us are not totally ready with the presents for our loved ones.

Holiday Mini Catalog

Happy Tuesday Everyone:

I just got my goodies from the Holiday Mini Catalog and I couldn't wait to make these cute bears, I haven't even make any card...yet but at least I got time enough to make the little ones, even my son played with my Big Shot, it was so easy for him and he had so much fun, I can't wait to start creating my cards using the cute bears, I still need to make a girl, just boys for my boy now.

Hello Everyone and Happy Monday!

What a wonderful Weekend we had, I got to relax creating new things. I went to my Stampin' Up! monthly meeting with my friend Sandy Hancock, she is awesome, she is the Lady that started me on this business and I'm so thankful to her, this Stampin' Up! experience has been such a good experience so far.

I have a lot of new Friends, I'm not talking about customers, I'm talking about friends, the people that is hard to find, we have so many things in common, starting of course with the love of stamping. I want to take this moment to thank you for your friendship, you know who you are. And Thank You too Sandy, for giving me this new opportunity of not being alone.

Well going back to business, let me show you the great banner that we made on the meeting, it is as simple  as running a couple of dies like the  Stampin' Up! Pennant, and pick the letters from the Serif Essentials Alphabet (Set of 7 dies) on the Big Shot and also punch the hearts with your brand new Heart to Heart Punch   use some ribbon and voila! You have this beautiful Banner.

You can make one with whatever you want to say, you can do a Birthday One, One with your Favorite Team, one with your Kid's name, etc. Actually I will be making one for my son's Birthday Party, you just have to change the colors, the Designer Series Paper (DSP)  and that's it, you can have a new banner for any occasion.

I always learn a lot on Sandy's meetings, the girls always share beautiful project like this small basket that you can use to give a treat to your friends, co-workers or your kids class mates. It is also easy to make, you have to use the Scallop Circle # 2 Big Shot Die and the Heart to Heart and Scallop Edge Punches, isn't it fantastic!

Getting ready for the Holidays

The Holidays are coming soon and we need to start working on the cards we want to send, we already have set the Christmas Card Club, on  Sunday October5th, Saturday November 1st, and Saturday, November 22nd,  (The Christmas Card Club is free of charge), the Holiday Cards Class on Saturday October 45th at 1:00 p.m. and The Halloween Cards Class that Joni is going to have here in my house on Monday, September 15th at 6:30 p.m. Unfortunately I don't have pictures of them, but... You can sign up being sure that the cards will be worth.

We are having the Gift Certificate Program with Stampin' Up:

You get a card that has 6 boxes, for each $50.00 that you buy from the Stampin' Up Catalog, you'll get one box filled, once you get the 6 boxes filled you will get a $30.00 gift certificate redeemable through me only.  As an special offer, I will mark one box for each 2 classes you attend, on September, October, November and December. Once you get your card filled, you will get a new one, and so on.

If you bring a friend to our group, you will get a $5.00 gift certificate to be used towards your next purchase. Bring two friends and you will get the class price cut to half. Bring three friends and you will get your class FREE!

If you want to have a special class or workshop, let me know, and I will plan it for you. If you need Birthday Cards for example, we will try to make more birthday cards on our classes.

Now we are going to start making also scrapbook pages for those friends who like to scrapbook. I already have a Christmas, and Valentine's one and I will be also doing a Monkey, and a few more that are very cute.  I will send you pictures as soon as I get them ready.

If you have a few friends that like to make cards, or scrap booking, plan a workshop at your house, invite them over, and I will go there and show them how to make a few projects. Remember that Stampin' Up has this program of Hostess Free Stamps Sets, depending on how much your friends buy from the catalog, how many free products you will get for yourself.  Besides you and your friends will have fun doing what you guys like.

And if your house is not big enough to host a workshop, don't worry, you can do it here at my house. I'll set the space for your friends to come and you will still get the free stuff. So let me know if you are interested, and lets set a date. Call me and I will give you tips on how to make a list of possible guests, and more information about the program.

The Holiday Mini Catalog is almost here, I will mail you one, or hand it to you so you can see the great products that Stampin' Up is having for the Holidays.

Now we have to start thinking about our new project, "A Little Birdie Told Me" This time we will use punches and we also will do some Water Coloring, using pencils and markers,  so if you are interested in learning that technique, this is a good chance to do it. The class is set for Tuesday September 9th at 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. but if you need to get here later than that, or leave earlier, there is no problem with it.
